Unfriending... :(

I've decided to do the not-so-nice task of unfriending. Just know that it is my genuine hope that we will part well and that life brings you much prosperity.  It is never an easy thing for me to unfriend someone or not reciprocate a friendship with someone who would like to become better friends, but I feel at this point in my life this is what I need.

If you have been unfriended it was for one of the following reasons which I am about to explain; I'm sure you will be able to determine for yourself what my reasoning for unfriending you was without me having to validate it.

  • If I don't know you on a very personal level and you've had a very long absence from posting, I unfriended you to maintain the integrity of my private posts.
  • I like to keep my relationships interactive.  I post about my life and like to know that my friends are there to listen and be there if/when I can use support as I am for them.  I also spend a great deal of time reading my flist and trying to interact via your journal.  If we've had little to no interaction for some time, I see no reason to continue having no interaction.
  • If we seemingly have nothing in common and appear to be worlds apart in our ways of thinking or dealing with life, where I am not able to relate to what you're saying or the things that you are doing, I do not know how to be a friend to you.
  • If your journal is continually full of negativity or complaining, this negativity brings me down and I may love you, but I prefer to surround myself with positive influences.  Yes, we all have our venting moments, but I am referring to constant negativity.
  • If your journal is continually boastful or self-promoting, I have a hard time reading such things and prefer not to read them.

Best wishes to each and every one of you.  <3

This journal is Friends Only due to the overabundance of worldwide loonies. :-P

I'm happy to add those who are my kind of loony. Please introduce yourself if you wish to be added.
